You should think about caring for and protecting your oiled furniture every one to three years. You can use a commercially available wood care oil to care for and refresh the furniture surface. Apply the oil thinly and sparingly with a cloth. This will give the surface a silky sheen and velvety softness. You can purchase a suitable furniture oil from a specialist wood retailer or from our care shop on the website www.hasena.ch. Please note: Sprays, polishes, cleaners containing silicone or solvents, as well as household cleaners, can cause unsightly stains that are difficult to remove. Cleaning is at your own risk. The solid wood will thank you for your care with its beautiful appearance. Further valuable information on caring for your solid wood furniture can be found in the care shop on the website www.hasenabeds.com., Care: Vacuum the upholstery fabric regularly with a soft upholstery nozzle and low suction power (max. 500 watts) to remove house dust and everyday dirt. Then refresh the fabric cover by wiping the surface with a slightly damp cotton cloth or Dust Fix. Use distilled water to avoid limescale marks. Depending on how often the upholstered furniture is used, we recommend cleaning and caring for it every three months, e.g. with a standard synthetic fiber care product or the specially formulated PURATEX® synthetic fiber care set. External influences: Upholstered furniture should not be exposed to direct sunlight or radiators, as this can cause colors to fade and certain fabrics to wear out more quickly. Be careful with colored clothing that may rub off on your upholstered furniture (e.g., dark jeans). The recommended room climate is 18–22 °C room temperature and approx. 45–55 % relative humidity. Cleaning: It is best to react immediately to stains and dab them carefully with an absorbent cloth (kitchen roll) – do not apply pressure or rub. Then treat with a standard synthetic fiber cleaner, alternatively PURATEX® synthetic fiber cleaner is suitable, and carefully work on the stain from the outside in. Afterwards, always clean a large area from seam to seam to avoid visible lightening. For aftercare, moisten a clean cloth with distilled water and clean again from seam to seam. The recommended indoor climate is a room temperature of 18–22 °C and approximately 45–55% relative humidity.
Cleaning: For stains, it is best to react immediately and gently dab with an absorbent cloth (kitchen paper), working without pressure and avoiding rubbing. Afterwards, treat the area with a commercially available synthetic fibre cleaner; alternatively, the PURATEX® synthetic fibre cleaner is suitable. Carefully work from the outside of the stain towards the centre. Then, always clean broadly from seam to seam to avoid visible lightening. For a follow-up treatment, dampen a clean cloth with distilled water and clean from seam to seam again.
