๐๏ธ Hasena Boxspring Box Inside 14 โ Boxspring Comfort for Your Hasena Bed
The Hasena Boxspring Box Inside 14 allows for the expansion of a suitable Hasena bed frame into a comfortable boxspring sleep system. Instead of a traditional slatted frame, the 14 cm high base is inserted directly into the bed frame. Inside, a 7-zone pocket spring core works to support the mattress and forms the typical boxspring understructure.
The box features a sturdy solid wood frame made of spruce/fir and is equipped with dual-sided felt insulation as well as a quilted double-jersey cover. Depending on the bed width, the system is delivered as single or double parts. This allows for the combination of the character of a classic Hasena bed frame with the construction of a boxspring bed.
โจ Boxspring Comfort in a Classic Bed Frame
With the Box Inside 14, Hasena combines two different bed concepts: the springy comfort of a boxspring system with the design of a classic Hasena bed frame. The boxspring understructure is directly inserted into a suitable bed frame and then complemented with a individually chosen mattress and optionally a topper.
The special advantage lies in the flexible combination: bed frame, headboard, box, mattress, and topper can be coordinated. This allows for the creation of a sleep system that looks visually appealing as a classic wooden or designer bed while utilising a 7-zone pocket spring understructure.
๐๏ธ From Classic Bed to Boxspring Sleep System
Box Inside 14 replaces the conventional slatted frame when configured appropriately. The base is inserted into a compatible Hasena bed frame and then combined with a matching mattress and, depending on the desired sleep comfort, a topper.

๐๏ธ Box Inside 14 or Traditional Slatted Frame?
In a classic bed, a slatted frame supports the mattress. Depending on the model, it can be rigid, manually adjustable, or motorised, with various spring slats, comfort zones, or reinforcements.
The Box Inside 14 follows a different principle: it replaces the traditional slatted frame with a 14 cm high boxspring understructure featuring a 7-zone pocket spring core. This allows a suitable Hasena bed frame to visually resemble a classic framed bed while simultaneously being combined with a boxspring construction made up of a box, mattress, and optional topper.
A slatted frame operates with spring slats. On the other hand, Box Inside 14 operates with a pocket spring core, forming the springy basis of a boxspring sleep system.
๐งฉ Combinable with These Hasena Lines
Hasena approves Box Inside 14 for bed frames from several current product lines. Important criteria include the line as well as a minimum insertion depth of 16 cm.
- ๐๏ธ Movie-/Top-Line
- ๐๏ธ Factory-Line
- ๐๏ธ Wood-Line
- ๐๏ธ Lounge
- ๐๏ธ Fine-Line
- ๐๏ธ Oak-Line
- ๐๏ธ Oak-Wild
- ๐๏ธ Dream-Line
For Box Inside 14, the bed frame requires a minimum insertion depth of 16 cm. Not every Hasena frame or frame configuration is therefore automatically suitable.
๐งฑ Crossbeam for Proper Support
Hasena generally recommends a crossbeam when using the Box Inside 14. This supports the construction within the bed frame and ensures the intended placement of the box.
For bed widths up to 140 cm, a suitable crossbeam is recommended. From 160 cm bed width, the required crossbeam is already included in the delivery of the Box Inside 14. When combined with a storage bed, Hasena recommends an additional crossbeam.
โ๏ธ Consider Headboard Height with Box Inside 14
Due to the construction of the box, mattress, and potentially topper, the lying surface is higher than in a traditional slatted frame system. Therefore, Hasena specifies a suitable Head-Plus extension adapter when using a headboard in combination with Box Inside 14. This raises the headboard by 9 or 13 cm to maintain aesthetic alignment with the higher sleep system.
With every compatible headboard in combination with Box Inside 14, a Head-Plus adapter is required according to Hasena. For the headboards Amy and Comfy, due to their design, 2 ร 2-set Head-Plus are each needed.
๐ค Individually Complement with Mattress & Topper
Box Inside 14 forms the understructure of the sleep system. Mattress and topper are not automatically included in the delivery and can be selected according to body weight, sleeping position, and desired lying experience.
