Vacuum the upholstery fabric regularly with a soft upholstery nozzle and low suction power to remove house dust and small contact stains. Then brush the fabric with a soft brush in the direction of the grain. Wiping with a damp leather cloth keeps the fabric permanently elastic and beautiful. Make sure that the leather cloth does not contain any residues of cleaning agents. Furthermore, upholstered furniture should not be exposed to direct sunlight and radiators, as the colors may fade and certain fabrics may wear out more quickly. Dried stains, such as food residues, can be carefully removed with a blunt object (spoon, back of a knife). Never use sharp objects. Dab liquids with an absorbent cloth; do not rub the fabric under any circumstances. Work on the stain from the edge towards the center. Apply light pressure and then wipe the cleaned area from seam to seam, first with a damp cloth and then with a dry cloth. Allow the fabric to dry slowly, vacuum it and then brush it again. Please note that no warranty claims will be accepted for damage caused by improper use, incorrect cleaning, or subsequent impregnation. Cleaning is at your own risk. Depending on how often the upholstered furniture is used, we recommend cleaning and caring for it every three months, e.g. with a standard synthetic fiber care product or the specially formulated PURATEX® synthetic fiber care set. External influences: Upholstered furniture should not be exposed to direct sunlight or radiators, as this can cause colors to fade and certain fabrics to wear out more quickly. Be careful with colored clothing that may rub off on your upholstered furniture (e.g., dark jeans). The recommended room climate is 18–22 °C room temperature and approx. 45–55 % relative humidity. Cleaning: It is best to react immediately to stains and dab them carefully with an absorbent cloth (kitchen roll) – do not apply pressure or rub. Then treat with a standard synthetic fiber cleaner, alternatively PURATEX® synthetic fiber cleaner is suitable, and carefully work on the stain from the outside in. Afterwards, always clean a large area from seam to seam to avoid visible lightening. For aftercare, moisten a clean cloth with distilled water and clean again from seam to seam. Allow the cover to dry completely and then impregnate it with a commercially available fabric impregnator or PURATEX® impregnator to maintain the dirt-repellent properties of the material.
